    Ati Catalyst installer randomly freezes


    When I was trying to update my ATI products the installer has randomly froze and now the progress bar does'nt even progress and it now only says "currently installing ATI Catalyst install manager" and it's been doing this for a day now and I've tried cancling it but it just says "Please wait for the current process to finish"
    What do I do now?
    If I don't do something maybe my computer is going to get ruined

    The only thing I can imagine is that your security software or UAC decided to block the process and is waiting for your input.
    Restarting will stop it, but it will more than likely ruin your graphics software installation at the same time.

    You'll more than likely need to scrub it and reinstall.

PC randomly freezes

Hey guys, My custom built PC was started freezing randomly today. The mouse stops moving, the HDD stops responding, and Contol alt delete does nothing. What should I check first?
I uninstalled my old driver to update them and when I open the catalyst installer, I only get to choose install location and when I click install button it loads really fast to about 3/4's full then crashes with no error report given. Please help!!

Hi guys, my pc has been acting weird lately, it has began randomly crashing frequently. I turn it on and after 3 or so minutes of random activity it just freezes or gives me a blue screen error. Sometimes while playing BF3, it freezes. Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen ...
I can open the installation program, but when i press install,the progress bar freezes for more than 10 minutes, then at some times,it moves. It takes much time (>20 minutes) to install ESET Smart Security 6 beta but still failed. I looked up the log and find that it has errors....
