Windows 7: disk on keys not recognized

I just installed a fresh installation of windows 7 ultimate.
and my computer doesn't recognize any usb flashdrives\disk on keys.
It does recognize the printer and mouse and camera which are usb connections.
But the usb disk on keys it does not recognize and they do work on other computers.
really need help, just installed the windows 7 so it's really weird. and I did use different usb connections to the disk on keys and it's not that.

Have reinstalled all the drivers for your hardware?

yea windows 7 installs all the hardware automatically. If there is anything in particular I need to install just say it.

Check for up to date drivers on the manufacturer's web site.

no drivers for a windows more the windows 98. It's not a specific disk on key it's all of them

If you are working a old Win 98 motherboard & not the MB in your Specs.

You will need to install a USB 2 PCI card.
USB 2.0 5 Port 41 PCI Card : PCI : Maplin

no it's not that because it worked before. It just started now.
I also discovered the wireless adapter doesn't work, but as I said the printer and mouse can camera do work. really weird.
