Possible driver issue

I am getting this error "Name resolution for the name dns.msftncsi.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded".

I found this thread from your forum Repair default gateway every 5 min is getting old

It sounds like this fixed the issue. Can someone tell me if that is what I need to do as well? If so, what driver is he talking about. My NIC card is a nvidia nforce 10/100 Mbps ethernet. Win 7 pro is the OS

Please help me out.

thx

If you are using the nvidia networking service/firewall you can remove it, you only need the driver for the device to work.
I have a nforce board myself and was never able to have a stable connection with the software, so I only install the actual network controller driver now.
