No audio output device is detected

I have just done a clean install from xp to windows 7 64 bit, everything is working fine except i have no audio, in the right hand of the task bar i am getting no audio output device is detected. If i look on device manager there is a fault on the multimedia audio controller

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There is no driver selected for the device information set or element.
To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.

I have been looking for a driver for the last 3 days but none seem to work, if anyone could lend me there expertise that would be great as its driving me crazy(no pun intended)

Hello there. You should give us your information about your's audio card. You can do that bu following:
Download and install Everest from here. Start it and go to Multimedia -> PCI/PnP Audio. In the right side you'll see Driver Description, and bellow that something like this.
    Realtek ALC888/1200 @ Intel 82801GB ICH7 - High Definition Audio Controller [A-1] PCI
This is mine.Copy and paste your here,so we can find drivers.
    StalkeR :)
Also I'll suggest you to update your system spec.
