Dell Network Driver impossible to download because of DellSystemDetect

Hi, I've tried Dell forums but I'm not getting anywhere so I decided to try Windows 7 forums for help.
I had to do a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit on my Dell Inspiron N7110 laptop and after I'd done that, discovered there were no drivers on the disc supplied with the computer.
I get to the Dell website and then discover I cannot download the drivers on my desktop to copy over to my laptop because of DellSystemDetect. The drivers have to be downloaded on the Dell laptop which cannot connect to the Internet!
I was wondering if there were any experts here, who could give me instructions on how to download a network driver, which can then be copied and installed on to my laptop, so that I can connect to the Internet to download the other drivers I need from Dell?

    Welcome to the forum,

Can you run this on your laptop,

System Information File - Create in Windows

Then copy the file over to your desktop and upload it here, we can point you to the right one.

    You're welcome. :)

It looks like you need the chipset driver, your network adapter isn't even being recognized yet.

I'll give you links to a couple drivers to install first,

Intel HM67 Chipset Driver Driver Details | Dell US

Intel Management Engine Interface Driver Driver Details | Dell US

After installing those on your laptop, restart and it should enable the system to see it.

From the hardware ID, I can see it's this one,

Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030/Advanced-N 6230 Driver Driver Details | Dell US

You can try installing that after the other two above.

There are other drivers I can point out if you like or just let the Dell system detect if you'd rather.

Why do you have to use system detect ?

Can`t you just download the driver ?

I`ve always downloaded Dell drivers and put them on a stick, is there some new problem ?

You should be able to just type in the model and it will bring up all the drivers and software for it.

You always have to get the drivers from Dell, Dells are a PITA

Probably because there are 16 drivers listed under wireless.

    Thank you.
Well, this is the problem I've been having with the Dell site.
After you click "download driver" it then adds the driver file to your "download list". When you click on "go to your download list" and you click on "download this list" if then starts "preparing to download".
You are then instructed to click on an agreement, which then starts the DellSystemDetect. It will not allow you to simply download the driver files without this system detect software running.
And of course it is futile to run it on my desktop, which is not a Dell and does not need drivers!

That doesn't happen for me, I just click the download and it downloads,

Is that happening with my links above too?

Oh, I see what happened. I had created a download list earlier and I guess it was trying to tell me this driver was on my list.
I will download the drivers you suggested and see if that will get me connected. Thank you so much for helping!
