Can not install drivers

I can not seem to install the driver for my new logitech G930 Headset. I have tried everything I can think of with no luck. I get a message "The wizard was interrupted before logitech G930 could install. I called Logitech support and they claim it's Microsoft and visa versa. I have attached the log if anyone can help me.
Thanks,
Sickpuppy

Are you getting your driver from the CD that came with it or from here?

Wireless Gaming Headset G930

I would download a new driver from the logitech site, save it to a temp folder or a place you can get to it later. Most installs want you to NOT plug the device until told to do so... read the guide carefully first.

Once you are ready to install, remember to install with Elevated Admin Rights... Right Click the executable and Run as Administrator

Good Luck.

Thanks for the reply, I have tried the original disc and two versions from their web sight all run as admin. and get the same message. Logitech claims it is due to software restriction policy on Windows 7 ultimate but I have not had this issue with any other software. Any ideas?

Try plugging in the headset, going to device manager right click on the entry for your headset, select update driver software and use browse my computer for driver software to point it to the driver on the CD. Try to open the folders on the CD to go all the way to the drivers and not just use automatic search.
You might get warnings about digital signatures just accept them

I hope this helps you

Thank you, I have tried that and windows tells me I have the best driver for this device. The log indicates it found a previous newer version of this software when I have no logitech software installed.

Then try to uninstall the previous driver, if you get the option to delete it accept it. when uninstalled do not new start if prompted, but try to install said CD driver

Go the Driver's executable, right click and use "Troubleshoot Compatibility" and let it run like that.
