Hi naomib and welcome to sevenforums
Try using the Add Printer wizard, selecting HP
and then using the Windows update option and see if that helps. Also, under device installation settings, make sure it is set to 'do this automatically'.
Also, you may try using a Brother HL-8 PS driver, a LaserJet II clone
with PostScript. It may or may not be slow as a slug with PostScript,
like the LJ II.
I hope this helps somewhat.

driver

Thanks
I tried the Windows update option and what I've got was "Amnyuni Document Convertwer 400 and 450" as an answer, which is not suitable. Its a PDF converter.
I'm not sure were is the 'devise installation settings' that you refered to.
And last do you mean I may try the driver for Brother HL-8 PS? If yes than where can I find the driver for it , it's not listed in the add printer wizard.
Thanks again

Yes but I'm still trying to locate one for you.

For device installation settings, just click on start menu, then in search bar type 'hardware updates' then click on 'change device installation settings' then select 'YES, do this automatically'.

Try looking here for your laserjet II. It is for laserjet IIP for x64 Windows 7 driver-

Please let me know if this works for you.

My apologies. As far as I can tell, your driver SHOULD be available in Windows 7. I'll continue to research for you and get back as soon as I find something more.
