    Storage Controllers Problem

    Hi All,
I have a laptop toshiba portege m900-s337 PSU9RL-003002 32-bit running on Windows 7 Home Premium. My laptop crash often and long time without responding. Lately, when I checked the "Device Manager", I have a Storage controllers "AL7GLB3W IDE Controller & ATXPNG3V IDE Controller". This device has got an "!" yellow mark next to it. The error message says, "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"
    I've Googled " AL7GLB3W & ATXPNG3V ", but could not find anything.
How do I resolve this problem?

    Thanks

Go to the Toshiba laptop support website for the correct drivers. The ones you need are probably the "Chipset" drivers: Laptop Support - Toshiba

On the page, click the Auto Detect button.

Funny you should say that pip,

Storage Controllers Problem - Toshiba Forums

Now with that said you wouldn't happen to have something like Alcohol or Daemon Tools installed would you/ Those controller names look like the kind of virtual controllers that get created by programs like that, and the names are totally random from one install to the next making it so that nothing comes up in a Google search.
