[Solved] Win 7 graphics drivers for Gateway MX7525

I am looking to install graphics driver for MX7525 notebook in Win7 32bit.
    It has ATI® Mobility RADEON™ X600 graphics.
Complete specs here Gateway Support - MX7525 Notebook Specifications
I guess the only OS that supports this is XP. Is there any way I could install some version of Catalyst or the XP driver?
I tried AMD Catalyst™ Display Driver v10.2 (Windows Vista - 32-Bit Edition), which mentions support for ATI Radeon X600 Series
    http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Legacy/Pages/radeonaiw_vista32.aspx?type=2.4.1&product=2.4.1.3.13〈=English
but that didn't work. Then I tried the same driver with "Mobility Modder". That didn't work either.

    Hi,

I've noticed that in the first section you mention you have "Win 7 32Bit" but the driver link you've provided is for 64Bit. I think that may be the issue if you're trying to install a 64Bit driver on a 32Bit machine

The link I gave was by mistake. I have corrected it in the original post. I had in fact used the 32bit. I just confirmed that again.

Thanks. I will look into it in detail.
One thing I realized after posting the question is, the driver I used is compatible with "ATI Radeon X600 Series" not "ATI Mobility Radeon X600 Series". I am not sure if that's the reason for failure.

From having a look around at HardwareHeaven, it appears that Mobility Modder doesn't work properly with the 10.2 legacy driver. Did come across a few that it does work with the Catalyst 9.11, which you can find here,

    ATI Catalyst 9.11 Windows 7 | Vista (32-bit) download from Guru3D.com

If that works I would then leave well enough alone as there will be nothing in any of the newer drivers (and there is only up to the 10.2 anyway) for your X600.

I used is compatible with "ATI Radeon X600 Series" not "ATI Mobility Radeon X600 Series". I am not sure if that's the reason for failure.
It is as there is no support for any of the mobility GPU's in the older drivers.

    Problem solved.
I downloaded the latest driver which are tested with Mobility Modder from here DriverHeavenDownloads.net - Fast n Furious (ATI Catalyst 8.12, Windows Vista 32-Bit)
And it just worked perfectly using Mobility Modder

    Thanks everyone.
