IEEE 1394 Bus Host Controller must be disabled/enabled

I have a Ricoh, but changed it to the Legacy driver.
I still have to manually disable / enable it to access my drive.

I guess the Windows team figured it would make good use of a persons free time.

Anyone know how to fix this?
If the external is running when I boot, I have to go through this same process each time.

    Thx

When I reinstall the correct FireWire (IEEE 1394): Ricoh Co Ltd R5C832 IEEE 1394 Controller driver, it still does the same thing. I must disable / enable it to access my drive.

    How stupid is that?
