Hello together.
After downgrading Win7 from 64bit to 32bit on my Sony Vaio VPCS11C5E I cannot find the correct driver for my graphic card NVIDIA Geforce 310M.
Can someone help me?
Thank you very much.

Try this
NVIDIA DRIVERS 267.76 WHQL
Hi yowanvista,
thanks for your prompt reply. Unfortunately this driver doesn't work. It says there is no compatible hardware...
Is it possible, that my graphic card only works on a 64bit system?
Absolutely nothing to do with 32 bit or 64 bit, and everything to do with Sony not allowing (for most things) reference hardware manufacturer drivers to be installed. On Sony laptops they use different DevID's and possibly other changes in the hardware's firmware to block the install.
That said you can try this,
Notebook Drivers
but it will likely fail as well. If it does you can try this as well for the latest driver,
Drivers | drivers for mobile cards and laptops | laptopvideo2go.com
which should have the necessary changes made to the INF to allow it to install.
Hi stormy13,
Thanks for trying to help me. Unfortunately also laptopvideo2go does not find a matching driver... NVIDIA feels sorry that they are not allowed to support my graphics card. I contacted Sony now and I am very excited if I ever get a useful answer (guess this is like waiting for the hell to freeze...)
One reason I can see for the laptopvideo2godriver not installing, does your laptop use switchable graphics? Means it uses the Intel graphics for low power, every day kind of use; and uses the Nvidia graphics where higher graphics power is needed, games for example. If it does then you are at the mercy of Sony and whether they will provide an update, as both the Intel and Nvidia drivers are required for both to function properly as they have been modified to work with each other.
Also from the Nvidia link that yowanvista posted,
You definitely fall under number 2, and if it does have the switchable graphics then it also falls under number 1.Notes::
