Silan sc92031 drivers appear on linux, but not on Win7...wtf?

I've had some network issues. The on board one busted, and I've just gotten one, luckily from my dad. I booted up windows and it can't find a driver for it. I boot up Ubuntu, and I'm *straight* onto the web. Except I'd like to be able to use the internet on windows too.

So the driver exists on Ubuntu, and not on windows, and apparently not on the web either. Seriously, looked everywhere. All I can find are posts saying "Dude, where's my drivers?".

I'm cross posting this onto a linux forum, because I found the details by using ubuntu, but I was wondering if there was a way of porting it...or something? Clearly the Ubuntu drivers work.

This is the networkd card's spec:
    Code:
    *-network
           description: Ethernet interface
product: SC92031 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter
vendor: Hangzhou Silan Microelectronics Co., Ltd.
           physical id: 5
           bus info: pci@0000:05:05.0
           logical name: eth1
           version: 01
           serial: [REMOVED]
           size: 100MB/s
           capacity: 100MB/s
           width: 32 bits
           clock: 33MHz
capabilities: pm vpd bus_master cap_list rom ethernet physical tp mii 10bt 10bt-fd 100bt 100bt-fd autonegotiation
           configuration: autonegotiation=on broadcast=yes driver=sc92031 duplex=full ip=[REMOVED] latency=64 link=yes maxlatency=40 mingnt=20 multicast=yes port=MII speed=100MB/s
           resources: irq:20 memory:fbfffc00-fbfffcff ioport:e800(size=256) memory:f0000000-f001ffff(prefetchable)
From what I can see it's notoriously hard to find, on the web. But I was wondering if anyone had any solutions to this problem?

Snap. Had I known it was my MAC address I would have not posted it up. Thanks.

The question about drivers still stands though.

Thanks Hopalong X, I tried the cnet download before, it does however link me back to a broken page on the manufacturers website: http://www.silan.com.cn/english/jszc/jszc.htm

The Zdnet link needs me to register, where it explicitly takes my details and sayd by accepting the T&Cs I allow them to pass my information to whomever they choose. I said yes as I'm a little desperate now. I get redirected here: http://www.silan.com.cn/english/jszc...tm?part=dlint&
    Which is also broken.

Been looking through the internet and this driver from Realtek came up; Realtek RTL8139 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com (this driver is for XP and should be the same as the Silan one)
There are several versions of this driver on the Realtek site, some even for Windows 7 it might be worth trying some of them out.
    I hope this helps

Sorry the links were useless. I thought they were the actual driver download not a redirect.

Pooch may be on the right track so worth a try.

From what I can find that card has one of the older Realtek network chips on it (8139D) which if that is what it is, then the driver straight from Realtek,

    Realtek

    should work for it.
