    Razer Lachesis mouse

    My Razer Lachesis mouse is not working properly under 7 (jumping cursor).

    The system cant find the mouse via firmware and also for firmware and mouseware it`s impossible to upgrade..

    Anyone knows when razer is releasing new win seven drivers?

    I'm using a Lachesis mouse, I didn't need to install any driver myself and I have no problems. You could try a different usb port but I'm afraid it wont help

    go to razors website and download the newest driver for vista (32 or 64 depending on what you have installed). Then extract the files into a folder. Go into the device manager and delete the mouse and driver. Reboot and it will find the mouse again and point it to the folder where you put the files.

    only mice and pointing-device hardware in device manager is "HID-compliant mouse"...it didn`t help to deinstall and reinstall - problem always the same, it`s a problem with razerware under windows seven x64..
    mouse jumping after bootup is quite noticeable, but not real heavy - but later the issue gets much bigger;

    - then i have to plug out the usb-cable and stick it in again a few times.., i am using newest drivers - but razerware shows old driver ver. 1.10 and mouse ver. 1.00

    I have a razor copperhead, and am on RC1-x86 and also have no issues. I dont have the razorware installed at this moment and all of the options on the mouse work, i have two buttons setup to change the resolution on the fly and they work without the razorware. Just setup the profiles on another machine for the time being.

    It seems the razer software and device manager are confused which driver is being used:

    The mouse should show up in 'Human Interface Devices' instead of 'Mice and other pointing devices':

    For those having trouble, have you tried: (if you can use the razerware that is)

    disabling acceleration
    adjusting the polling rate
    reseting both profile and config

    A little while ago, all the side/extra buttons stopped responding completely in both Seven and Vista until I reset the profiles/configs. It could be worth a shot.

    I haven't had a problem with either the mouse or software since build 7000. Then again, I updated the firmware to 1.91 under Vista x64.
