Change motherboard. Cannot Start. How to remove drivers offline?

Hi, my motherboard is malfunction.
Therefore, I changed a new motherboard.
The hard disk was moved to new motherboard.
When the windows logo loaded at start up, animate, it freeze on the half way, then it restart automatically.

It should be the driver problem. The old chipset drivers is not compatible with the current new motherboard.

The content of the harddisk is still healthy. It can be opened on another pc or by system rescue disk.

My question is, I want to remove old drivers which belongs to the old motherboard.
Just left it the most basic drivers for keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc.

Where is the location/folder of old drivers? or where is their settings? How can I remove it?

That is not easy to do, and more to the point, impossible to be certain that everything was gotten.

In other words, You are better off recovering your data and reload from scratch. It will be a whole lot less time.

To put this in perspective......

To remove drivers off line,, find the install of the drivers, extract it, find the inf, ini, and other files,
Find all Reg Entries, and files that are placed, scattered all over Windows and System32 folders, and other locations.
Find all other configurations that have been made to any other stuff on the system.
Find all files that might have been replaced and/or updated and put back the originals.

In some other words, you can never be certain you fully removed all of the drivers to be sure that there won't be conflicts or problems later on down the road.

Save yourself the time and effort ,, back up, nuke and reload.

Hi, yes, I have tried the articles posted in the tutorial section.
and try several attempts on different kinds of method.
but it fails.

I can locate the drivers folder, and too the registry entries for the settings of the devices.
but, the names that the creator used is not easy to understand, define, determine and identify.

I done nothing on the folder. because i'm not sure which driver is "Basic", and which driver is not "Basic".

Therefore, like Tepid said: I save my breath, backup, nuke it, and gave it a rebirth. :)
