    That's Floppy install:

    Detailed Description

    Purpose

Intel Rapid Storage Technology (Intel RST) F6 driver diskettes v10.8.0.1003 - used to preinstall RAID drivers (F6 diskettes are used during the installation of Windows* Operating System setup to setup RAID). These files can be used to create floppy disks in order to pre-install the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver during the F6 portion of Windows* setup. The F6 installation method is not required for Microsoft Windows Vista* or Microsoft Windows 7*.

Better wait a little for the end users one.:)

ah - within the download there are also instructions on how to use the download with more modern operating systems.

    ...

In Microsoft Windows Vista* or higher:

    2. Double-click 'System' from the Classic View (or the
small or large icon view in Microsoft Windows 7*).

    3. Select 'Device Manager' in the left pane.

    ...etc
intel could well have done it better though...

    IRST and Vertex SSD

Here is something to take into consideration. This is a excerpt from the firmware flashing guide at OCZ.

    OCZ Technology

"Any OCZ SSD drives installed in the system will not be recognized by the Toolbox if you are using an Intel chipset based motherboard running the Intel RST 10.1.X.XXXX AHCI drivers. We recommend using Microsoft ACHI drivers for Toolbox to be properly recognized"

That's the one. Already updated mine. Have two corsair force 3 SSDs setup as raid0.
All seems to be working OK.

    To update I did this:
    Device Manager/Storage controllers/Intel. Right click/update drivers.

Now just have to remember to transfer them to the usb for a clean install.

That's old news because the newer versions of OCZ Toolbox (2.39 and above) does work with the Intel's RST drivers.

    Conflict

    Guide OCZ Windows Toolbox for Vertex2/3, Agility2/3, Solid3, and Revo3/Revo3 x2 drives.

This page make a reference to ver 2.39.02 if you dl it it is actually ver 2.40.07. But it still has this warning. Is It out of date also?

EDIT: The OCZ Toolbox does not work with the Intel RST 10.1 series drivers.

    OCZ Toolbox version 2.40.07
    ---------------------------
    - Added BIOS update for Revo3/Z-Drive R4 drives
    - Display BIOS version for Revo3/Z-Drive R4/Hybrid Drive
    Known Issues:
    - Update Firmware feature prohibited for primary drives with 1500 & 2000 controllers
    - Intel RST Driver 10.1.0.1008 prohibits SSD detection
