    Installing Razer Deathadder drivers

How do you go about installing the drivers in compatibility mode? I'm buying the deathadder tomorrow and I know that it comes with a disk to install the drivers from but I've heard they work better while under windows xp sp3 compatability mode. How do you install under compatability mode from the cd? Right click the cd and chose compatability mode?

right click the exe file and set it to xp sp2. If no exe file there should be an inf file or you might even have autorun enabled.

    Hope this helps

Is this a typo or does it work better under sp2? Also thanks, I know I don't have auto-run enabled so it should all work.

Yep absolutely a typo if you think they will run better in compat mode, you cold either run them in vista sp2 (if they are vista drivers) ir xp sp3 (if they are xp drivers). If they are vista drivers you may not even have to run them in compat mode. play it by ear read the manual.
Hope this was a little more intelligible

Usually by the time products hit the shelves with a driver CD, the drivers are well out of date. Check the Razer site for more up to date drivers and try them first, they may be W7 compat.
