Motorola 6412 DVR 64 bit driver

I'm connecting my DVR to my PC but I need the 64 bit driver. I cannot find the driver. Does anyone have any ideas of where I can find this (Motorola does not provide)? I want to be able to transfer recorded shows onto my PC and then convert the shows from the TS file format to a MPEG.

    There is no such thing.

Firewire drivers for the Motorola DVR's were a "privately created" effort, and you can research this whole subject on the AVS Forum, "firewire recording" thread. But these drivers only work in 32-bit WinXP (and apparently 32-bit Win7). They are not usable in a 64-bit environment.

Furthermore, CapDVHS (which produces the TS file capture files) also only runs in 32-bit mode. I'm not sure if it can be installed and run on a 64-bit Win7, but again the problem is the firewire drivers.

Your best bet is to use a separate 32-bit WinXP or 32-bit Win7 partition to accomplish what you want, for those times when you need it.
