Display driver stopped responding and recovered!

    Display driver stopped responding and recovered!


    So i just got a 550 ti from evga and its great but it crashes to desktop every in games when I play them for at least 5 minutes. Heres a pic of what it look like except i have the latest drivers (270.61)




    Any one have an idea oh here is what the thing looks like the event viewer

    "The description for Event ID 14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer."

    needs a driver re-install using this method.


    When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper


    Or Phyxion.net - Driver Sweeper

    When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.

    No luck i sweeped everything with the cleaner and reinstalled the latest drivers. I started crysis and it crashed to desktop with the not responding message.

    Did the crash generate a blue screen? if so we need the dmp file

    Next download cpuid and keep track of the temps

    Ok i downloaded the program now what? My gpu temps are usually around 30 c cant really tell during a crash because its crashing of course. Anything els I can do?

    Ok it just crashed to desktop and then blackscreen im giving up soon I will call tech support or rma the thing

    cnat blame you especially if it is under warranty.
