USB Driver Questions

I just got a new computer, and it is my first time with Windows 7. I have some questions about Device Manager, and Universal Serial Bus Manager. When I open it, all sorts of names pop up. What do they mean? Here are all of them. Generic USB hub (2 of them), Intel (R) 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller (one 3B34 and one 3B3C), USB Mass Storage Device (2 of them), and USB Root Hub (2 of them). What do these all mean? Can you find where they are located on the tower? And how can you tell if they are 1.1, 2.0, or 3.0?

You can check on the back if its 2.0 or 3.0 (didn't you check when you bought it?), if you find EHCI its definitely 2.0.

Ok thanks! Do you know about the rest, like what the names mean? I have 6 ports on my tower, and 8 in Universal Serial Bus Manager.
