You can not load drivers from a USB Pendrive.

    Amazon.com: USB floppy

Why not just use Microsoft Virtual PC or Sun Virtual Box?

WinXP does not allow using USB drives like a flash drive or pen drive like Vista, Server 2008 or Win7.

ok thanks mate, im using this one now

Or, AMD SATA AHCI driver from HP , here
Extract sp43839 to a folder and use files in RAID7xx folder

    Important Notes:
    1. In Nlite, choose the option of insert -> multiple driver folder
    2. Select ONLY x86 driver for AMD SATA AHCI when asked.
    3. Never choose x64 driver when asked
and only using the x86 driver

it burning now and ill try it and update

    thanks

dude that worked sweet as. Thank you so much!!

Another quick question, is shrinking my C drive the same as partitioning it?

    Thanks again man you rock

Ok so i just tried shrinking the C: and D: drives to create a new partition for the XP installation. I noticed there were 4 previous partitions and read that windows 7 can not accomodate more then 4 partitions on a single disk, so i deleted the partition HP_TOOLS. However i am still unable to shrink C: or D: even though they have sufficiant space. C: has 300GB free and im only trying to shrink it by 2GB. It just pops up with an error

    any ideas?

    Thanks
