    Drivers question

i installed windows 7 just fine, then on my first bootup windows update installed a few updates and then some drivers for me. everything appears to be functioning correctly and device manage shows no problems.

should i still update my drivers or just leave them be?

You may want to check for updated Audio and Graphic driver on the manufacturer's site.
Other than that it'll be fine.

    Hi,

The AMD/ATI drivers were already up to date, but the audio drivers appeared to be newer so I updated those.

    Thanks a lot,

You are welcome. Windows update does not always have the most current drivers, that is why you should go to the makers' site and check periodically for the latest drivers.

I would agree. I use the updated drivers for everything possible, and only use Windows Update in case I can't find something.
