    Motherboard driver??

Recently my computer has been going haywire on a game and only does so for that certain game. Below is exactly what happens every so often and when I went to the game's support I had been told to update my drivers, using the Live Update 5 that you can DL for MSI computers, and below is also a screen shot of what the screen says and when I attempt to download one of them it will say download fail, would it be best to update the MB driver to see if it fixes the problem with the game? and if so, how would I go about finding and downloading them since Live update 5 will not work?

    Hello HelpmeSuperman,

Try right clicking on the updater.exe and select Run as Administrator.

The updater is outdated. I suggest you download the chipset drivers directly from MSI or from the chipset manufacturer, Intel. Make sure that you create a restore point first.

    Driver downloads:

    MSI 9.1.1.1027

    http://www.msi.com/product/nb/GX660....r&os=Win7%2064

    Intel 9.2.0.1030

Do you have the latest AMD graphics driver installed?
    ATI Catalyst
    AMD Graphics Drivers & Software

If not, that should probably be the first thing to update.

You could install either version. Drivers on motherboard manufacturers websites can often be several revisions behind those offered directly by the chipset manufacturer.

I don't trust updater programs, and always prefer to install the drivers on my own. The Intel chipset drivers should be the first thing you install on any Intel system (mobo chipset) after the OS is installed. As for which one....just use the latest. Intel's drivers are all-in-one, so they couldn't be any easier.
