    Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport Adapter not working


    Hello,
    my above device is not working properly as per report .i had updated the divice driver ,tryied manuall install dell's driver but all are useless, its stil not working i think .plz help me.

    my tune up utility notifing me that this driver is not working .and in device manager it is showing an yellow sign on it which means it is not working properly . sorry for bad english .

Okay, so I was browsing through the adapter settings in windows 7 and came across a Wiresless Conenction 2 which is a Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter. I don't remember seeing this on the list before, and it suddenly seems to have appeared. Has anyone else experienced this problem?? TIA
I found this quaint sounding entry in Device Manager (among network adapters) with driver dated 2006. Recommended update online search found one update but with a red lettered warning that I should not install it. So I cancelled. What is this device? And do I need it?
I recently found this in my network connections and I'm curious to what it is used for... 15826 Anyone have an idea?
in my network connections folder, i have wireless network connection 2 under which it says microsoft virtual wifi miniport adapter. whats the use of this adapter??????????
