| | HP Setup.exe willnot run. I downloaded the HP Photosmart Premium Fax All-in-One Printer - C309a software package. Once it extracts it stops running. When I go to the folder and run the Setup.exe file I get the circle on the pointer which makes me believe it is trying to run but then nothing happens. There seem to be sevelar threads about this being a problem with Windows 7 / IE8 but none that I have found have a solution. Running Windows 7 Home Premium 64. |

| | I assume you got this from the official HP support website ? I would suggest you write to them as I have found them to be quite helpful in the past (unlike their hardware support LOL ) - just a suggestion. |

| | You might try running as Administrator with the device unplugged. Many scanners and printers want you to have the device unplugged and will tell you when to plug it in. |
