    AMD Athlon II X4 640

I've been having troubles with my comp lately, and since sending it in for repairs twice haven't helped I figured it must be something with my drivers, but I can't find one for my processor (AMD Athlon II X4 640 quad core, 3.0ghz AM3, 2MB 95W). I've searched AMDs homepage and tried googling in creative ways, but I can't seem to find anything.

sorry if I posted this the wrong place, if you need any more information just let me know.

I've already updated the bios, but as the immense noob I am I will now ask the question.. what are the chipset drivers?

nevermind, I think I figured it out..

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards- ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3

They required so the operating system knows what hardware is built into and connected to the motherboard.

downloaded the newest version, there's still some minor troubles but they're MUCH less than they were before the install, now off to find whatever part that still needs upgrading
