Choose a System Restore point prior to the catalyst install.

WIN | type System Restore | ENTER | NEXT button |
select a restore point from the list shown

Notice that there are two important boxes:
a checkmark box to see more restore points and
a Scan for affected programs button.

The "affected programs" will show which programs will be influenced by your change.

WIN is the key with the Microsoft flag on top.

Come on. Help me out here. I'm not telepathic.

When you say "How do you do that?" then what is "that"?

Which part of my instructions lacks clarity?

He probably means how to get there

Start -> type in search: "Windows Restore" and then follow Karlsnooks instructions.

I am wondering if that will work though as he got a BSOD when boots up windows.

    Mark,
    The WIN key was explained.

Either the Win key or the Start orb will get you a window with the search box already selected so that one can immediately type in System Restore.

If you think you explained it well then okay.

    Jmasterman,

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts you will see your computer's hardware being listed. When you see this information start to gently tap the F8 key on your keyboard repeatedly until you are presented with the Windows 7 Advanced Boot Options screen.
    3. Using the arrow keys, select the Safe Mode option.

Now your computer will boot up with a minimum set of drivers and services.
Next go to Start and then RightClick on Computer and then select Properties

A new window will open, at the top left select Device Manager and then open the Display Adapters category

You'll want to uninstall the driver and then reboot in normal mode.
