Realtek ethernet drivers (Problem in XP)

The realtek ethernet controller was not found. If deep sleep mode is enabled please plug the cable.

I saw a lot of people having the same problem but there is one problem. I have windows xp while the others had windows 7.

I've just formatted my computer and i want to install the drivers. And when i'm trying to install the ethernet drivers it appears this message.

    Please help me!!

Not trying to turn this into an XP forum, but I recently bought a new Gigabit motherboard that used onboard Realtek LAN -- and had nothing but problems with it until the THIRD LAN drivers update was applied.

If you have Realtek on board, you will need to check your motherboard vendor site for drivers -- and you may have to end up installing different versions of the driver, one at a time, until the LAN finally works.
