Tried that earlier and the links for window7 took me to downloads for their audio codecs ,very bizarre.

And guess what,it has the info i wanted

I went there first this morning,spotted that the NIC drivers were old,but COMPLETELY missed the Realtek RTL8101E - 10/100 Controller under the info tab.
What a fool !
