Huawei K3765 issues with Mobile Partner (Uninstalling drivers)

    Hello everyone,

I use Huawei K3765 USB Dongle. I have unlocked it so that I can use other SIM cards with it. I also had to install Mobile Partner for it. But now I am getting an error in Mobile Partner saying, "the device has been disconnected or is unavailable".

I can still connect to the internet through dial-up but to use 3G services I need Mobile Partner. Now here is a link where a solution is posted.

I would like to know whether uninstalling every driver under 'Universal Serial Bus Controllers' is safe or not.

Any sort of help will be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Regards,

And when connected to the internet via dial-up, Mobile Partner identifies my device. But before connecting to the internet, my device is not detected.
Mobile Partner cannot connect to the internet, but when connected via dial-up, I can disconnect via Mobile Partner.
Mobile Partner cannot read my data card ie signal strength is 0%, but it still shows the upload and download speeds when connected to the internet. It also shows the statistics, data downloaded, data uploaded, time spent online, etc. but I just cannot connect through Mobile Partner. I need to connect through Mobile Partner because only then will I be able to connect to a 3G network.

In short, mobile partner doesn't works when disconnected from the internet. Only once I connect to the internet via dial-up, mobile partner can be used.
    Any help?

Problem solved, I just had to tweak the drivers a bit. :)

If you are having problems with the K3765 especially with the computer "freezing" - think hardware! I struggled with this modem for almost a year, and finally realized that the current load from the modem was overtaxing my little notebook. It was OK when I was close to a tower with a strong signal, but in my village (Peace Corps Volunteer) it was problematic. When I swapped to a backup battery, my little netbook would freeze before I accomplished anything worthwhile. (Apparently backup battery is slightly weaker.) Good luck.
