I can't get a driver to work for my Abit AirSpace Wi-Fi card on Windows 7 x64 Beta 1.
Are there drivers that would work (or a generic?)
When I tried installing the Vista x64 drivers I got a BSOD with a ndis.sys error.
Got the exact same problem. Any solutions?
Very simple, this card is actually an atheros chipset card, simply uninstall any abit driver and install the driver for the card manually using Windows 7 default drivers under 'Network Adapters', pick either Atheros AR5006X or AR5006XS.

Hi i seem to have a little bit of an issue with my network adaptor
Since i made the dual boot vista and 7 when i initially boot aether vista or 7 device manager doesn't seem to see any installed network adaptors
To get device manager to reccognise that there is an installed network adaptor i have to make a reboot.... seems somewhat strainge that i have to do this...
do you think that its because i have the official driver for vista and use the Atheros AR5006X for 7? seems strainge that that that would be the case
i also noted with in vista i see my C: D: and H: drive bit within 7 i only see my C: and D: drive...
how i have this setup is from vista view is
drive 1 C: vista installed
drive 2 D: storage
Drive 2 H:windows 7 installed
How it shows in 7 is
drive 2 C: windows 7
drive 2 D: storage
drive 1 does not show : this is where vista is installed
in 7 drive H: shows as drive C:

I think that might solve your problem.
For the network adapter problem, I also had the same issue in Vista where the drivers wouldn't install for the Abit Airpace card.
To fix this in Vista, you can simply just point device manager to search for drivers in system32, but doing this in Windows 7 blue screened the PC for me, but when I rebooted it had recognised the device (but still wouldn't install drivers).
Manually searching for the drivers and selecting the Atheros drivers worked, though.

but as for the airpace card... it not that the drivers aren't loading... well i think its not....
lets say when i boot up and the icon show not connected to a network.... i don't think its because it cant load the driver but more to the fact that i cant find/detect the network adaptor... since my Ethernet ports don't load in 7 ether it shows no network devices what so ever
basically7 sees my computer as having no network devices at all until i make a restart...then device manager will see the network card at the next boot...and will load the correct assigned drivers
