Already asked and answered in one of your previous threads,
Hardware t%l and 3D Problem HELP
With your laptop using switchable graphics you can only use the driver from HP. The reference driver from AMD will not install at all, and even if it did it won't work with the switchable graphics.
When you clean installed Windows and were doing updates, didn't happen to miss the AMD driver that was in the list did you?

This is one of those where if it isn't working properly with the HP provided drivers, it is then time to take it up with HP.

Lol good luck, HP Support suck, first thing they'll say is to re-install Windows 7 again from the recovery partition...

Warranty has expired i suppose i could probably just wait for the next driver update in a month or two

You can't be sure a driver update will be provided. Check the Intel Driver Update Utility Intel® Driver Update Utility for any updates.
