    Help installin Atheros drivers

    Hello,

Im trying to install drivers for my atheros network card.
Ive downloaded new drivers, came as a zipped file. Where do I unzip them to?

    Hey John,

In theory you can unzip them anywhere, but I'd put in somewhere where they can remain untouched.

Do you need help installing the drivers as well?

Would be great, because Ive no idea what to do with them. I don't see a .exe file in them.

On your Window's taskbar search for Device Manager. Open that up and locate the device which you're updating/installing driver's for, right-click it and select properties. Select update drivers, then browse manually to the location where you extracted the driver files. :)

    Any problems just post back!

You have to chose Properties and then there is an update drivers button on the drivers page.

Looks like you beat me to it.

Yes. That's why an installation driver package is preferable where you can get it. It does the work for you.
