Hey John,

In theory you can unzip them anywhere, but I'd put in somewhere where they can remain untouched.

Do you need help installing the drivers as well?

On your Window's taskbar search for Device Manager. Open that up and locate the device which you're updating/installing driver's for, right-click it and select properties. Select update drivers, then browse manually to the location where you extracted the driver files.

Any problems just post back!

You have to chose Properties and then there is an update drivers button on the drivers page.

Looks like you beat me to it.

Yes. That's why an installation driver package is preferable where you can get it. It does the work for you.

Is this (Atheros Communications) the correct website to get drivers from Atheros? I tried to get to the downloads page from the Atheros homepage, but I couldn't find a link, so I searched for it on Google. However, I don't entirely trust Google when searching for drivers.
