    can i leave it the way it is as my hard drive seems fast and fine so opions is it acceptable to leave it the way it is as the data is only 1

    Certainly you can leave it the way it is. But just be aware that even if it seems fine now your data might become at risk at any point in time.

    If you choose to leave it be then you can usually disable smart monitoring in your computers BIOS. But be aware that this is also goin to stop the checking of several other features

    if the value data 1 stays the same then i am fine right as it says under data is 1 so that is not to worry at all i plan to keep monitoring my hhd but all my other values are fine

    Smart values range from 0 to somewhere around 100,200,250 depending on the manufacturer. On this scale 0 is very bad and the high end is good. So one is very bad by that reasoning

    omg iran two other hard drive unity's and it says it is fine i think hdd tune was wrong

    i get the ultra ata crc errot count and it tells my it is fine on two different unity's so what does that mean ps i got the hdd app off this site and it was pro so i think it might have been a pirateware so it was wrong

    Look on the website near the top of the thread it explains the different values.

    If you think its spy-, mal- ,pirate-ware then run a full scan with malwarebytes
