    hard drive help please


    this is a error i seen and it scares me is there anyway to fix this or is there anything to worry about

    As it says in your screenshot, you may have a damaged cable connecting your hard drive to your motherboard.

    You'll need to open your case and check for a loose connection or a damaged cable.

    Well, just have a good look and see if it is frayed, check the connectors at each end of the cable and make sure the connectors on your motherboard and hard drive don't show any obvious signs of wear.

    If in doubt, buy a new cable and try that - they're not very expensive.

    If you really don't feel confident in tackling the problem yourself you'll need to take your computer to your local repair shop or get a computer-savvy friend to check it out for you.

    i check the cable and conector to hard drive to motherboard and they look fine no wear also this error i have will it make the hard drive fail and all my data lost

    also the worst is 200 and the data section has a value of data 1

    also my two hdd is connected to sata 3 and 4 on the motherboard and sata 1 amd 2 are free

    Just get a new cable. Or try to use a different SATA port. Besides this is an error that occurred during a transmission between disk and computer. You won't lose Data because whenever there is a transmission error a re-transmission is requested.
    Data already store on your drive isn't affected until altered.

    so basical this does not suggest a hardware failure so my hhd is fine then

    also the data is 1 and worst is 200 so is there much point in changing if the data is only one
