    Drivers for my wireless


    Hi, im trying to get hold on drivers for my wireless network. I cant remember downloading any driver before, i was almost sure it worked after a windows update :/ Anyhow now when i click the network icon i can only see cable connection and no wireless connections shows up at all :/ I have a samsung r720 and i have no idea what network card i can have, and im really bad at computers.So help would be appriciated. Thanks

    Hi Zini , have you looked at the website Support for NP-R720E SAMSUNG ,It could be the intel, realtek or atheros wireless card you have , what was the original operating system that was installed when you bought the laptop new ? that information may enable us to determine the original device installed

    I bought it with vista x32 but then got windows 7 x64. And now im sure i never downloaded any drivers when i think off it :/ Something maybe messed up upon the new installation i made ? :/

    1- Press start, in search tab type "network and sharing center" then enter, at the left press "change adapter settings", if you see "Wireless Network Connection" right click then enable.
    OR
    2- Press start, type "device manager" then enter, under "network adapters" check if you have a wireless adapter or a yellow triangle beside it, if so right click "update driver software".

    Nope cant find any wireless, only bluetooth, and it worked before i reinstalled

    OK Zini ,in device manager , is the wireless card listed ?

    No Only Marvell Yukon 88E8057 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller and 2 bluetooth

    OK Zini , It's trial and error Time we will try the Intel driver first , down load the 64bit driver from the download link I gave you It's the first driver on the list :)

    Just a thought Zini , Is the wireless card turned on ? press Fn+F9 to activate the wireless , is the wireless LED lit?

    Fn+f9 dident do anything Okey i will download and install :) Sorry it took time just got back from store ^^
