Strange, they works for me... Don't now really what to do... I would recomend a fresh install. Report after.
It just dawned on me. When you plug in a new device, Windows 7 checks Windows Update. And then I remembered that my copy of AVG Internet Suite actively blocks Windows Update for some reason. On a whim, I uninstalled every bluetooth driver and package I toyed with and ran the installer off the disk with the firewall off.
The device now works perfectly.
So I guess now...how do I stop the firewall from blocking Windows Update? :)
Hi, I have Belkin F8T016 too, I wanted to use it to connect it to my mobile phone to transfer music files without USB cord. When I insert the dongle, windows finds and installs driver automatically, shows devices as ready, but when I go to Bluetooth places and add new device, it can't find any devices, same with my phone, it can't see the computer. Tried downloading from Belkin support page, same result, plus it's weirdly states that it's 32 bit version driver:
Belkin : Support : Bluetooth Driver
No reply from support, I think I'm ready to give up and throw the dongle to the drawer in hopes for future fixes.
Windows 7 64-bit
Hello
don't know if you are still having problems but I got mine to work with no problems, yet.
Open your instilation disk, windows file, win32 file, open Inst aplication and follow the promps. When finnished reboot and again follw the promps on start up.
I use a bluetooth mouse and it is working great.
