Windows 7: The CMD box and expanding .sy_ files in win 7

The CMD box and expanding .sy_ files in win 7

I recently found myself in a situation where I need to expand the file into a .sys file so it can be turned into a file in my driver folder.
I tried commands such as "expand nvlddmkm.sy_ c:\windows\system32\drivers\nvlddmkm.sys" in my command box, but it didn't work as it stated it to not be an external or internal command.
So I am needing help in inserting the right commands to expand the file.

I also welcome any ways not involving cmd box (command prompt)
Thanks for reading this and I hope you can help
