Windows 7: Ethernet Controller (code 28) is missing

I really need help, i have a wireless card i use interent wirelessly(sry for my english) , i reinstalled windows 7
these are my specs:


AMD athalon 64/Opeteron HT Hub
Processor: AMD Sempron(tm_ Processor 3200+ 1.80GHz
Mainboard:Asus M2n

Have you installed the motherboard drivers? Normally the cd contains the ethernet driver.

Edit: Sorry I assume this is a PC not a laptop??

i dont have the cd ... i lost it somewhere

Actually could you explain what you want a little more clearly.

But you then mention Wireless.

Do you want to use the PC via ethernet or via wireless?

i dont know that too, cuz my dads friend got a new pc and he bought this card(he already had one in the computer) in the morning he came and he isntalled it(he just put the card inside the computer)it was working fine , then i had to reinstall windows 7 (virus) i reinstalled it and then the it said "installing blah blah" and then after a second "error in installing blah blah" so i clicked on it and it said that ethernet controller driver is missing

im rly sry for my english, ethernet controller drivers is missing and i cant find it anywhere

Your dads friend may have the drivers CD the Wireless Ethernet card.

Yes or at least be able to tell you what make and model it is.
