Need 64-bit driver for HP DJ855C or HP PSC1315

I've had an HP Deskjet 855C for about 18 years, and it's been a great printer. But I just got a Win7 64-bit PC and now I can't use this old workhorse because I can't find a 64-bit driver for it.

Same situation for the HP PSC1315. No 64-bit driver.

Is there any possible workaround for this?

Someone told me once that using a basic Laserjet driver would work, but I don't know how to do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Found nothing for the Deskjet 855C, but found this link for your PSC1315.

Software & Driver Downloads HP PSC 1315 All-in-One Printer - HP technical support (United Kingdom - English)

You'll probably need HP's US site.

seavixen32 has given you the perfect link for the 1315 printer I myself have the identical printer, and I also needed the 64-bit version of the driver to install it on Windows 7. There was no problem installing it - everything went smoothly, and the printer prints fine

About the 855C: I did some searching, and it seems that this printer model is so old that there are no drivers for it under Vista or Windows 7 :-/

However, maybe someone can give you more information over here in the HP Support Forums:
    http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer.../bd-p/Software

I got some good help there when I was having an issue with an HP device.

I also found this, where it is suggested to use another printer driver for Vista to make the 855C printer work, but I'd want to make sure that this is possible for 64-bit Windows 7 before experimenting around...

I had a PSC1210 when Windows 7 was released in August of 2009, and the only drivers I found were through Windows Update. They worked, and the printer was fully functional.
