    A2DP drivers for win 7

    Hi!

Does anyone know where to find working drivers for A2DP for win 7? I have A2DP compatible bluetooth headset (Nokia BH-604) and I get it working only in mono-audio if trying to use it for gaming (fps + voip).

Hope you guys can help me.

No, it didn't help. I've tried to install broadcomms stuff, but it always stops install and says some other device (and it quesses its my keyboard logitech mx5500) doesn't allow to install it.

It would be nice to just have a driver for A2DP, without installing softwares.

I haven't found any solution, just kind of frustrating and depressing that you buy quite expensive devices and you just can't have working drivers for them.

I would like to still give a try for my BT-headset before buying wired ones. They really works like a charm when listening music or wathcing movies.

I hope somebody can hear my misery and help me in some corner of universe

    A2DP driver for windows 7 64 bit

After much frustration trying to get Kinivo BTH220 Stero Bluetooth headphones to work and much internet searching I learned that Windows 7 does not have A2DP drivers. Through some forum on Bluetooth headphone installation problems I came across a reference to Bluetooth drivers released by HP. I downloaded the driver and installed it while the Bluetooth USB device was installed and operational. When I added the Bluetooth headset device through the Bluetooth adapter panel the necessary drivers where installed and things worked as I expected. Do a Google search for the file "sp44774.exe." You need to locate a page with the title "Software Support for HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth Wireless Technology for Microsoft Windows 7;" download the file - it is about 59 MByte. After the installation you may need to restart the Windows Audio Services by executing the services.msc utility; this may require you to first stop the service and then start it.

My computer is a Dell Studio XPS 9000 with the i7-960 processor. The Bluetooth USB device is a Targus USB Bluetooth Adapter which shows up as a Broadcom 2046 Bluetooth 2.1 USB UHE Dangle with the Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator in the device manager under Bluetooth Radios, and as two Bluetooth devices under Network adapters.

Please note the HP drivers are for Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) only!

    Bluetooth speaker now works

Well its been over a year and we continue to encounter the same problem in Windows 7, added the driver sp44774 per lnklatt and now the speaker works, must have added the A2DP extension for the bluetooth stack, guess it will work for most HP or other laptops?, dare say...it pay's to be a - HP programmer
