Use the Bios version for your moboard not mine. There are differences in the electronics/hardware on the mother board.

I am still using the original bios version that came with my board. I have no problems with mine.
So why update if everything works properly. I beleive it is version 8xx or 9xx maybe 10xx. I'm not sure at the moment.

If you are having problems an update of the Bios may be necessary.

    Good luck

As far as I know it is possible to update the BIOS at any time.
I am not sure whether its possible to restore the old BIOS, but I guess it requires the same procedure as updating, adding an older bIOS version instead of the new one.

The Youtube seems like the procedure I went through, and as you see its quite easy to update it.

And don't forget to update all the hardware drivers too, it helps to get a stable pc.

well Nvidia drivers doing the opposite for me :\

i hope that the new bios will fix it.. though it most likely Nvidia fault like allways...

btw if i update my bios it can give random freezes, BSOD ,and etc to the system if i not used the very last drivers? cause if yes i doomed...

i dk if i using the core last driver version atm (i use the driver that come back then with the CD i got with the mobo), and i can't use my GPU last driver version because it give me ton of bugs and give my OS random freezes and etc...

ok i just installed my bios. everything seem to working fine... for now...

and i have more three questions btw... (i don't want to open new post just for 3 little questions... so i write it here...)

    1. my everest show that i update my bios.. but it also show Video's bios and tell me that it 2 years old and suggest me to update it... O_o

where do i get Video's bios? is it from the GPU drivers?

    2.
what is Qualified Vendor and sata drivers? O_o i know what it SATA but i dk they both have drivers....

what their driver do and how i install it? (is it even worth installing?)

check this link for more info
ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards- ASUS P7P55D

    3. and last, i checked my CPU driver, it seem like i have the: :Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility V9.1.1.1015 for 32/64bit Windows XP & Windows Vista & Windows 7.(WHQL)"

and asus site show that i have new update for my CPU: "Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility V9.1.1.1020 for Windows 32/64bit XP & 32/64bit Vista & 32/64bit Windows 7.(WHQL)"

my question is: can i just update chip driver ? o_O cause i know that usually you can't just install driver over driver and expect for good results, at least from my experience with drivers (well in alot of cases i do update my drivers and nothing happend.. but still ,the best way to do it is to remove the old driver first) , also is this driver even stable? xD cause i also had experience with unstable drivers that pass their WHQL (and not just GPU ones~!!!).

thank in advance to all these who help

where do i get Video's bios?
Leave this as it is. Do not try to change the graphics card bios.
Update your video driver when they become available if you wish.

Qualified vendor list is just a guideline table with RAM (memory) brands Asus has tested with the motherboard
The SATA drivers are drivers for SATA connectors on your board
Changing MB bios is one thing.. but changing a videocard bios can be dangerous and kills your warranty
You can update the intel chipset drivers.. they usually don't install much anyway but either way if you çinstall the latest you have the latest drivers

If you want the video card to continue working then leave the video card Bios as it is.

but you still don't really answered me if the Qualified Vendor and SATA are need to be instelled or if i can just leave it the way it is now xD , also i still don't understand what is Qualified Vendor and what it do O_o can you explain it in more specifics ways that even noob user like myself would be able to understand it? xD

    also
If you want the video card to continue working then leave the video card Bios as it is.
thanks hopalong X for your concern. i will do as you suggest, however i really want to know what updateing video Bios can do IF it succeed , any specific changes? making your card to work faster? etc? xD

To ypdate the Intel chips driver you can use Intel's automatic driver update from their site. It is at the bottom left side "Automatically find drivers".

The qualiofied vendor list is a document.. now how would you install a document
Installing the intel matrix storage driver might improve your hard disk speeds
And the jmicron driver is a driver for a STA controller on your board that's not part of the intel ones.. when you look in your motherboard manual there is a groudn plan of your board somewhere On that plan you will see one sata connector that's apart from the rest, at the bottom right I think, and that's the jmicron one So if you plan to use that one you can install the driver
