New onboard raid controller help

I bought new internals. Gigabyte GA-990fxa-ud3, amd phenom 2 3.4 ghz quad core, 8gbs DDR3 1333, 4 western digital hard drives for raid 5 array and a 600watt psu, had xfx ati radeon 4650 gpu and 2 seagate 1 tb drives.

Independent disks:
Operating system on drive 1: windows 7 ultimate sp1
Operating system on drive 2: windows XP professional sp2

System boots just fine when not in raid mode

When it raid, the array is functional in bios and window start up screen bsod and restarts it self. Went into safe mode and the last driver before it shuts down is atipcie so I updated that and it is still giving me the problem.

Try to boot with the windows cd in and it won't read from the cd while in raid mode.

Please help!!!
