    Can you be more specific?

What doesnt work? what happens when you try?

Do you get an error message.

We cant help you with a vague "it doesnt work"

Sometimes you have to adjust sensitivity settings for the touchpad. Go to Control Panel > double click Mouse. A "Mouse Properties" dialog box should open with several tabs. One of them should say Synaptics or perhaps Toshiba Touchpad or something similar. Click on that tab and you should see several settings that can be modified. (If you don't see any of those tabs you should have a Hardware tab. Click on that and then double click on PS/2 Compatible Mouse - that should be your touchpad. You should also see a Device Status box that will indicate if your tocuhpad is working properly.)
