    Hello,

    Another thing to try:
How To Restore a Missing DirectX DLL File

This is for another missing .DLL file but just do it for the D3DCOMPILER_43.dll that you are missing.

Well I ended up reformatting and that took care of it. Not sure if it was a problem that came out of a bad install when I first got my computer or if it arose out of a hard reset after I put in my new video card, either way problem is solved. Thank you for all of your support.

Hey I have a question for the OP:

I am experiencing the EXACT same issues from Battlefield 3 to chrome because of the D3DCompiler_43.dll errors.

You mentioned that you recently installed new video cards and that they could have possibly been the source of the error... Is there any more details about that? I also happen to recently installed a pair of video cards and now I am dealing with the same issue.

I'd like to see if this issue is still resolvable without reformatting... Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

You could try un-installing the graphics cards via device manager and then re-installing the drivers.

So I went into device manager and uninstalled it, then went straight to the most recent drivers and the issue persists. Perhaps a repair install would do the trick?

from reading through this forum i am led to believe that my computer, when being formatted picked the error up as the error only began after being formatted. i guess i should go and reformat again, damn you far cry 3!
