Same issue here, My drivers would need to be for a BisonCam, NB pro... on windows 7 64 bit if I force install it just gives me a black screen. I've read a ton of forums and everywhere seems to have something in common. Windows 7 64bit runs a windows generic driver for the built in camera... and its a horrible driver. I posted on microsofts website... they said Bison needs to release new drivers... So Crystal eye, Bison... whatever you want to call it, if you have a 64bit Windows 7 driver that works, please post. I haven't figured out who to bug to get this process started on making new drivers.

    Hello guys,

Try having a look here at Stationdrivers...scroll down the list and look for the appropriate name of your camera drivers. Don't matter the logos going with it, just look at the names.

    page special drivers

Some Acer one are Suyin, Chicony, Saitek, Liteon, Syntek STK, Sonix, Silicon Motion (x64bits)....

    Hi,

My windows 7 worked out of the box and the webcam was working just good, until yesterday. I have a dual boot Ubuntu on my laptop 'Acer Aspire One ZG5'. First i encountered camera issues on Ubuntu, which i could fix after uninstalling and reinstalling a few programs.

When i logged into Windows 7 after the issue in Ubuntu, My camera has become highly unstable, most of the time the Crystal Eye camera driver is not installed properly with a unknown device under the USB devices in the device manager on boot.

Its working fine under Ubuntu OS though.

Any ideas ? On how to fix this instability ?

    thanks,

I have an Acer Aspire 4930 Notebook. The Crystal Eye webcam worked but i could find a link to access it.
I fixed the problem at Acer Crystal eye driver Issue Windows 7
The driver works on any Acer sporting a Crystal Eye Webcam
    Peace
