Wacom Tablet malfunctioning, failure in pen sensitivity?
Okay, this is kind of a bizarre problem.
Firstly, I have tried totally uninstalling and re-installing the most recent drivers for two models of wacom's tablets (I have an intous3 and intous4 in my possession). Before I activate windows upon starting my computer, a screen for quick browsing appears. The tablet, when connected, works fine here. Pen pressure is recognized completely, and the movement of the cursor in accordance with how I use the stylus is as smooth as silk.
As soon as I activate windows, the smoothness of the cursor movements in reaction to the stylus are choppy. I then sign in.
When I sign in, my tablet seems to be working just fine again for less than two minutes. The movement of the cursor is smooth, pen pressure is active in my painting programs...and then suddenly, it stops.
The light on my tablet remains on, and it 'blinks' when my stylus touches the active pad, which is normal. Energy is consistently supplied to my tablet, and my laptop does not make any notice of the tablet disconnecting.
I have tried this process with two tablets, and both react the same way..so it's not the tablet, it's the computer.
Does anyone have any ideas?
