Ethernet Controller issue, cant install drivers or detect devices

Guys, ive encounter some really frustrating issue here , recently just changed my cpu from an phenom x4 955 to a fx 8350 . After the pc got booted up, the horror began as im using an ethernet card , the internet cant be connected . No matter what drivers I tried , it just show that the driver software can't be installed . Even after trying it with a Ethernet USB adapter , got the same results.Tried through device manager to install drivers manually as the ethernet controller is showing a yellow exclamation mark , cant be installed too.

Tried using the CD they provided with the card , it just prompt me "The device may not be present or could have been ejected/unplugged from the system. Insert or reinsert now".

Anyone got any other idea whats really wrong? Really tried everything i know of and found on the net.

Hi ... Welcome to Seven Forums .... Are none of your USB Devices working ? ... Or is it just the USB 3 or 2 Ports that are the issue ? ....

Hi maxie , thanks for replying , one of them is the ethernet adapter , which is slotted in the motherboard. just couldnt get it to be detected or the driver installed . The other USB adapter i tried was on USB 2.0 , since after i plugged it into one of the USB , it says driver software couldnt be installed, by plugging into the other USB it wont even say anything , cause it already shows the driver software cannot be installed.

I have installed the realtek lan driver from the motherboard CD that is provided , the motherboard lan driver is working ,but there's still a ethernet controller with a yellow exclamation mark, which should be of the ethernet adapter. Have not tried installing the chipset driver yet .

Try the Chipset Driver ... The Drivers you have on the CD might be quite old ...
