| | Driver Sweeper can't delete all registry files in registry editor  So this is the situation: I've unistalled Amd Driver from Device Manager, Unistalled Catalyst software and ran Driver Sweeper. There is only 3 registeries that the Driver Sweeper CAN'T delete and these are under SYSTEM\ folder. I've tried to change user privilegies but this far I've not succeeded. So guys, I need your help.  |

| | Why would you uninstall through Device Manager first? Just run the Catalyst Install Manager from Programs and Features, and it will uninstall both the driver and CCC. Or better yet, just run the Catalyst install and it will uninstall the old before installing the new. Also Driver Sweeper isn't needed, as anything it may find after doing a normal uninstall will get overwritten by the new files/registry entries. |

| | Try Revo uninstaller... Works Great. Removes all enteries. Good Luck and Happy Holidays. |

There are reasons why some use a driver sweeper, you know. Like not being able to install any driver at all because of leftovers of old drivers, because they don't get all scrapped or there is some other issue with the install routine. It's not because they may not have heard of the normal way... This advice is as good as offering "visit us at our community meeting" instead of any real solution. |
