    Canon iR1570f for windows 7 64 bit

    Hi All,
I am having difficulty installing my canon ir1570 printer on my laptop with a windows 7 64 bit o.s. I have tried all drivers from canon and their website but none works. I have tried manual installation, but windows update does not update with this printer model. Please help somebody.

    Hello,

Did you download the drivers from here:
    Canon U.S.A. : Office Equipment : imageRUNNER 1750

You need the Windows 7 x64 Setup program. - Right click the installer exe when downloaded and run as administrator.

    Hi dave

Thank you for the quick reply. I am on the website but not sure exactly which driver to download. Also, will this driver work on the ir1570f?
Once again thank you for your reply.

Ohh I am sorry, I searched for the wrong printer! Sorry about that!

    Try:
    iR1570F

Download and run the netspot device installer.

    Hi

How do you run the netspot device installer? I can download and can see the English licence in Word but which file out of the download is the actual driver?

    Thanks

    Hi Dave

I am able to run & install the Netspot Device Installer but I still can't see the iR1570F on the device listing. Canon Australia has advised me that the this printer won't work with a 64 Bit Windows 7 notebook. What do you think?

    Thanks

    Hi Witmedia,

Really the best thing for you to do would be to start your own thread.

If Canon have said that it will not work on 64-bit then I would have to surrender to them unfortunately.
